The hotel staff was quite friendly, assisting with directions and local information. I appreciated the room's cleanliness. Housekeeping ensured it remained tidy. The location was a definite plus, providing easy access to transportation.
The soundproofing wasn't ideal. Noise from the hallway was sometimes audible.

a superb stay
ample space early check in helpful staff
apartment 1 worked well for our group of four. two bathrooms and a kitchen area provided ample space for everyone. there was plenty of space in the car park and the early check in was very welcome. the staff were very helpful (always a plus when traveling).
i noticed a tear in my bottom sheet.

the hotel started breakfast service an hour early for our group. i found the breakfast to be great (especially the pancakes!). i enjoyed it and slept off as soon as my head touched the pillow.

the bathroom was well equipped and the bath was huge. the bathroom mirrors and lighting were great for getting ready. there was easy access to town, and kettle in the room was also very helpful.

good size ensuite apartment size top floor stairs torn sheet
the room was a good size with an ensuite. it felt warm. friends had an apartment, it was a lovely size and very comfortable.
i did not like being on the top floor. there were so many stairs to go up. there was a tear in my bottom sheet.

a mixed bag of experiences
cracked sink street noise
the location was good for accessing public transportation.
The room felt quite dated, with several maintenance issues. the bathroom sink had a crack, and the showerhead sprayed water in every direction except down. also, the noise from the street was constant and loud. Sleep was difficult.

The location has easy access to public transport. The onsite parking was free and convenient. I really like the early check-in time. I appreciate the beautiful, homely breakfast, it was delicious.
The walls seem thin. I could hear the people chatting from another room, that affected my sleep.

The staff quickly resolved a room location issue. The room offered ample space for luggage. Free parking was available and secure. The hotel is close to public transport.
The sink had separate taps for hot and cold water, a slightly inconvenient design.
